Short bio

My name is Alberto Maione, and I am a Mathematician and a Musician.

I am Assistant Professor (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato - tipo A) at the Department of Mathematics of Politecnico di Milano.

I got my PhD at the Universities of Trento and Verona, Italy, under the supervision of Francesco Serra Cassano and Andrea Pinamonti.
Then, I was Postdoc at the Department of Applied Mathematics of the University of Freiburg, Germany, in the research group of Patrick Dondl, and Postdoc at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica in Barcelona, Spain, in the research group of Xavier Cabré. 

I graduated in Classical Guitar at the Conservatory of Music "F. Morlacchi" of Perugia, under the supervision of Maestro Stefano Palamidessi, and I specialised in Flamenco Guitar, under the supervision of Maestro Miguel Fornell.
